Abstract:
Min ( 珉 ), meaning a kind of beautiful stone like jade, is derived from the etymological meaning
of “low and poor” in its phonetic symbol Min ( 民 ). In the literature, Min ( 珉 ) has many diff erent
written forms, such as Min ( 玟 ), Min ( 砇 ), Min ( ) and etc. From the structure and the specifi c
use of Chinese characters, this group of characters constitutes a complete inter-character relationship
by changing phonetic or semantic symbols, making errors in phonetic symbols, complicating phonetic
symbols, moving the position of phonetic symbols, changing pronunciation and loaning phonetic.
