Abstract
In the history of Chinese Graphology research, most research have been focusing on issues of graphic forms, while meanings of graphs also have been involved. Some treatises seemed to study issues of graphic form, but explored lexical meanings issues actually. Such as the scholar Zheng Qiao of the Song Dynasty, he explored lexical meanings and raised the hypothesis of Jiajie ( 假借 ) when he researched the Jiajie ( 假借 ) issue of Liushu ( 六书 ), which was a new extension in the field of Chinese Graphology research actually, and a new gain of ancient word meaning research is worthy of attention.
