 A Discussion on the Character Shell ( 贝 ) in Oracle Bone Inscriptions

Abstract  
     This paper discusses the character shell ( 贝 ) and interprets some sentences that contain shell( 贝 ) and several graphs that have 贝 as their consituent in Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Certain knotty original text and words are also explained to investigate the graph in Oracle Bone Inscriptions, thus concluding that it should be interpreted as ni 匿 .
