Investigate the Usage of Xi ( 戏 ) , Pi ( 䏘 ) and Yama ( 丫 麻 ) by the Phenomenon of Tingyinweizi ( 听音为字 )

Abstract  
     As the phenomenon of tingyinweizi ( 听音为字 ) existed, there were various characters to record the meaning of coitus in the documents of Ming and Qing dynasties vernacular and contemporary Chinese, from the perspective of motivation, xi ( 戏 ) was the most accurate one.There were also different characters for the meaning of female’s private part, pi (  ) was the most accurate one, and there was another word yama ( 丫麻 ) related with pi ( ) as they share the same meaning, and the usage of yama ( 丫麻 ) is a metaphor.
